The Ideal Pokémon Tales: Z-A Super Form According to Your Astrological Sign
The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread enthusiasm within the community. Starting with the one-by-one reveal of newcomers before the title's release, to players developing firm opinions on the full lineup of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.
With many of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive appearances that highlight their personalities, one thought came to mind: What's the best way to connect this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a blend of vibes, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.
Aries – Mega Camerupt
Honestly, Houndoom was almost selected for Aries, as both are the Super Form and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom appears as constantly furious, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why Aries much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which solely spews lava when angered. Remain on the good side of both and benefit from a strong partner; should you offend them, be ready to get burned.
The Bull – Super Heracross
Much like a devoted Bull, the steadfast Heracross species, both in its regular and Super Form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, each the Pokémon and a Taurus are also Fighting types, and – be it their trainer or a strong opinion – will defend their side to the end. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unashamed love of snacks. Many past Pokédex entries note their fondness for tasty tree sap and how it employs its appendage to collect it everything, which is true Taurus energy.
Gemini – Mega Medicham
Look at this absolute queen. You cannot tell me this Pokémon is not the life of any gathering, providing an endless fountain of chatter to those who wish to listen. Much like an captivating, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly easy to imagine Mega Medicham mesmerizing an whole open area with their tales. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also states its ability to predict an enemy’s next moves, which seems very similar to a people-smart Gemini.
Cancer – Super Manectric
Cancer is commonly regarded as the most sensitive sign of the zodiac, a intense sign known for frequently getting wrapped up in their emotions. Per the official info, Super Evolution fills the creature with a “tremendous amount of energy, but it's excessive for Manectric to fully control,” which seems a lot like a classic Cancer emotional outburst. It is also recognized for its capability to create a storm cloud over its very self – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is likely to do, it’s rain on their own parade.
The Lion – Super Starmie
Well, did you assume I was planning to select Pyroar for the lion of the stars? Aside from the fact that it would be much too on the nose, The Lion is obviously Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just went viral for being too glamorous (or terrifying, depending on your taste). Fans were captivated from the violet starfish, and that’s exactly the same energy a Lion offers to the scene. This Pokémon is also said to be broadcasting signals from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Leo to be staging a performance, albeit for extraterrestrials.
Virgo – Mega Victreebel
The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Virgo is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual digestive issues. The zodiac symbol known for being endearingly critical is clearly reflected throughout this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a always shocked expression like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s just like the symbol a Virgo posts to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a plan.
The Scales – Super Audino
Look at this gentle, empathetic creature, who employs the sensors on its auditory organs to tell how others are feeling by their heartbeat. Always empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the peace, there are many Scales who would probably benefit from Super Audino's abilities. Though, to be frank, it would probably just make them stress more about everyone else.
The Scorpion – Super Banette
This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly tragic origin: Discarded as a toy, it gained consciousness through pure hatred and vowed revenge on its previous caretaker. Per the official info, Mega Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpio adores karma and retribution, making them the perfect match with Mega Banette.
The Archer – Super Hawlucha
Both Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always putting on a performance. As a Sagittarius myself, the number of times I’ve called myself some version of a “playful little jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to show off its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius match I can think of.
Capricorn – Super Absol
Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the power to predict disasters in advance? That gives the identical vibe as a Goat, who tends to consistently believe they’re right. The thing is, much like a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the very initial Super Form that players meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Goat to join the beginning of the Mega trend.
Aquarius – Super Chandelure
Aloof air sign Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame placement that is closest to a flame symbol – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are countless jokes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's dual Ghost/Fire typing fits seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting aura is also extremely Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “absorbs negative energy and converts it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
