At long last fans can commence: first five minutes of Stranger Things 5 shared.
The concluding season of Netflix's supernatural smash hit the show is expected to be one of the biggest events of this year. Part one airs on November 27, yet a clip of the spine-tingling opening five minutes has been made public on the internet.
The Opening: An Echo to the 1980s
The segment, titled the prologue, brings audiences back to the start of the series in the early '80s, after the vanishing of the boy.
"Do I remain or leave?" he vocalizes while attempting to keep calm in the Upside Down.
The situation rapidly turns frightening as a monstrous creature appears and pulls Will to the stronghold of the villain. "Finally, it's time to commence," he says to Will simultaneously shooting a vine down his throat. "You and I, we are going to do truly magnificent things together."
Air Dates and Theater Showings
The second part of the final series will be broadcast on the day after Christmas, with the last chapter released on the first of January – which will also be shown in specific cinemas.
Story Outline
The summary explains: "The season of the late '80s. The setting is scarred by the creation of gateways, and the protagonists are united by a single goal: hunt down and destroy Vecna. Yet his location is unknown – his whereabouts and schemes unknown. Making more difficult the task, authorities has enforced Hawkins under military quarantine and stepped up its hunt for the character, pushing her back into hiding. When the anniversary of the boy's vanishing draws near, arrives a heavy, familiar dread. Behind the Scenes
The surprise clip was shared to YouTube following the show's Hollywood event a few days ago, featuring actors such as the lead actress and her co-star.
"The size of it has increased … There is more excitement and enhanced CGI, but it is likewise without a doubt the most heartfelt series because it's the end of the journey for all of these characters," the show's head writer, noted of the last chapters.
The co-producer and co-creator, added: "Bringing it out to the public is nerve-racking, yet we are prepared to unveil it finally."
